A popular classroom, the art curriculum at Havenwood Preschool teaches our children the use of materials and techniques, as well as introducing them to the work of contemporary and historical artists. We look at different forms of visual art and use these works as a springboard to create our own artwork. Basic tools such as crayons, paint, glue and scissors help the children develop fine motor skills, while they explore design and color to create unique works. We focus on process and help the students find joy in their creations.
